Meet Megado’s little sister: all the features, but with fewer shafts. Tired of crawling on the floor to tie up treadles? Octado is for you! Louet designs looms that are easy and comfortable to weave with, allowing weavers to sit and enjoy their craft for many hours at a time. A dobby loom allows you to avoid tie-ups and with only 8 shafts, it’s not so intimidating. Octado has all of the major features its big sister the Megado and has one treadle, lightweight treadling and a floating breast beam system.
Our Octado electronic-dobby interfaces with popular weaving software with a USB cable connection. Compatible software includes: Fiberworks PCW, Patternland, PixieLoom, Weavemaker, Proweave and Weave It. The Octado interface supports both PC and MacIntosh operating platforms. Design a pattern in your software and send it to your loom to weave!

Octado 70: 27 5/8” (70cm) weaving width, comes with 600 heddles
Octado 90: 35” (90 cm) weaving width, comes with 800 heddles
Octado 110: 44” (110 cm) weaving width, comes with 1200 heddles
